Talking to a few of my friends over the past months i'v realised that effort and reward have to go specifically hand in hand as teenagers, otherwise we just give up for some reason.

i guess there are many examples of this, sport, academics, music, love. If we don't get what we classify as a "just reward" then most of us quit.
i don't know why us as teenagers seem unable to be very patient in this sense.
But then if you read between the lines it does make sense.
Teenagers are strictly small term, we do not even plan ahead for very long.
As Adro said at camp, on a FB event page there are so many "maybe"'s simply because most of us as teenagers can't plan that far ahead

This is one of my biggest problems now
i guess i just need patience

Got told a few hours ago to update this, i really ceebs updating in holidays, like what do i exactly do? nothing yeh that's what i thought *sigh* really should be studying harder this holidays...

highlight of my week was musical outing on thursday. lots of funny memories and some we all don't want to remember ever again XD
supposed to get to central by 10:30, well the southies and i managed to get there on time at any rate...julia and tristan were "late" *shifty*
and yes guys i sometimes talk like a British wagger simply cuz i can so suck it up

pepper lunch, i swear the musical crew can only speak in insults, banter and musical in jokes...it's a little worrying for sanity i think..oh well XD
got the beef pepper thingy, and i ate probably the slowest there, stella asked me how i could eat so much when i ate so slowly, told her i liked to savour every mouthful i pay for...><
ran out of cred btw to the person who texted me, sorry >< didn't really tell you but i hope you read this.

K, getting some cheap discount at Show haha 15 bucks for an hour, Julia and Tristan... gave us bloody nightmares that's for sure, i feel sorry for Howell XD he was in close proximity to them at Pepper Lunch AND at K. Highlight songs included Wannabe, Bohemian Rhap, I Gotta Feeling and hearing Stella go insane on All I Want for Christmas Is You...O.O i literally turned green a few times from envy and my jaw dropped a few times...

then Pool, trying to teach ppl how to play pool, "Stella it's a THRUSTING motion not a PUSHING motion" woohoo, quote of the month there... we only managed 1 and 1/2 games in one whole hour...that's how much we suck XD oh well Julia, Tristan and I won the first game against some pretty shoddy opposition admittedly XD

and then the pukeable sight of those two at Market city, srsly guys, PDA, they burned the eyes of everyone, including the rest of the damn public *shudder* then those 2 left for some kind of party so the rest of us went Darling Harbour and went the LONG way...i blame stella and howell, they should know their way around this place...
and again displaying the incredible ability of our limited lack of compliments or civil conversation we bantered our way into the grave/train home XD and i just smelt like a damn cigarette smoking druggie ugggggghhhhhh

ISCF 2010

Gotta say, this years camp was pretty good :)
I guess i'm going to have to wrack my brains a bit and try and remember all that happened, this is going to be a long one...wonder if anyone is going to bother reading a new one, on that note i might just get a new skin...hmmmm not sure if i can remember how to put on stuff properly...oh well newayz

Friday
Meeting at central station, twas quite good, living only 10 min train trip FTW
met ppl i knew, others i didnt, bee-mon thought i was being weird and gave me perplexed look, (foreshadowing more of it to come :( oh well)
Bus trip laaa, yr 12's got on public bus: me, josh, kiwi, nat, orla, dani, fong, panda FTW guys, talk about awesome trip down cept me getting sick having to sleep and nat doing some ninja shots *shakes fist*
and then the good old walk to Chittick with spaz, then talk about rules, then putting bags in cabin (finding out later they changed rooms) *shakes fist*
then music :D my guitar and stuff were still alive woot woot, though i gta get them off keely somehow...oh well... XDD

Ice breaker games, i didnt feel too awesome so i didn't do alot but talk was very good even though i epically failed Your Grace is Enough :( i think i must have started on the wrong fret...or maybe i just fail hard. probably fail hard
twas intro talk but still very good, adro speaks so well :) it was an introduction to spiritual growth.

dinner, not awesome but oh well and games, which ended up pretty lol in the big field, cathy told me she failed and fell into a hole, was kinda worried after cracking up about ppl breaking legs but she wasnt in hospital so i assumed she'd be alright :D
then sleep with oli threatening UFC ownage if anyone woke him up... yay?

Saturday
Sunrise, friggin cathy and amy woke me up giggling in front of my room *shifty* XDD
wasn't an awesome one to look at, too many clouds oh well hoped for better the next day but it was good to pray with fellow Christians at the sun rise.
Talk two, well technically talk 1...but still newayz it was about intimacy with God, so i guess not having the wrong views on God: u know not the policeman, grandfather or CEO God, all of which was really encouraging but also just learning about what true intimacy looks like and practical steps.
Disco groups :D we had an AWESOME group nick leading me, andy, nat, cathy, becki in the awesome room 2, love ALL of you guys, sorry i didn't write a letter to u guys but yeh im not a letter person so here's what i give XD

Lunch and Free time, jamming for the whole time, twas good, cept i kept failing at Muse songs *sigh* oh well must get better *promises* trying to teach cathy guitar, imma fail teacher :( sorry cathy :(

Dinner PIE, AWESOME PIE (thanx again to sue), though i cldnt eat more cuz i had to leave for band prac XD
Talk: Growing in love for the Lost, i lose track of details there was so much but i hv booklet somewhere in my backpack so will read properly there for prayer and study
Disco group and late sleep as usual, got kicked outa TV room by Len, got given reasons about being role models so yeh everyone got out sharpish, mayo knows too many rude jokes....XDD

Sunday
Another fail sunrise, a more fail wake up time for me, woke up to see ppl getting ready then leaving so hmmm, soz fong and stuff for keeping u in when we actually went XD oh well, the sun didnt really show up and be cool so uggghhhh oh well God bless

awesome morning service heaps of ppl came which was really encouraging, brekkie, band prac, quiet time and then onto talks on Growing in Holiness and Christlikeness, surprisingly i didnt fall asleep or feel tired at all....hmm weird but i guess adro is just THAT good :)Disco groups, i loved how we jst told each other so much guys, its a great thing to share, i felt good jst letting stuff off my chest, hope u guys don't think im that weird...but i guess everyone did before so what else is new? XD nick is AWESOME at prayer, he just keeps going its so incredible what his love for God gives him :D

lunch and FREE TIME WEEEEEEE BEACH, watched ben lyon carry cathy down to the beach on his back *cue ngaaaawwwwww* those two are so cute :) *waits for cathy slap then ben punch to face* would be so worth it though
RUUUUUUUUGGGGGGBBBBBYYYY, yep, still know how to catch a ball apparently Kwan Min...and knock ppl over and not remember how to tackle. water was rather awesome, pyramid better haha leader pyramid was so epic XDD and adro and jonno are so tank i was on their back and adro was just doing push ups and holding me up with left hand :O :O

Forgot to mention workshops before, but last time was about sovereignty with nick fung (disco group leader FTW) and was really good to hear stuff about Christianity in terms of Free Will, Why God forgives all and Evangelism. 2nd workshop i was too tired from lugging chips back from shop so i jst helped out Sue and Ali in kitchen, found it more tiring to help out in the kitchen but at least try and make life that little bit easier for those 2 they do SO MUCH WORK FOR US love u both so much :D and met alice who was very nice to me :), and minji was cutting up onions and had tears in her eyes and ppl were like "awww minji u ok...(noticing onions)...oh...nvm" LOL

Pasta Bake and got to listen to Mayo RAGE about touch footy haha how wrong she would be at raging. although, really...dim lighted thai food with ur sport team...yeh i guess i can see why she would get annoyed at that XD

Last Talk and...after

A new topic heading for this because it is REALLY AWESOME.
anyways after Adro finished up his talk, much of which i never really remembered till the morning after in disco groups but yeh anyways we finished off with The Stand, and i don't know what happened but i think the Holy Spirit seriously just swept all of us and everyone was just spontaneously singing, crying, praying out loud or just all off the above sometimes.

Now i don't cry that often, (last post i didn't really cry as such, no tears came out yeeehhhh) but man when i heard Andy quote 1 John and man i just broke down but everyone was there for like an extra hour or so, and this is like ISCF high school so yeh twas awesome. some people stayed till 1 apparently so that was pretty big, don't think ill have an experience like that in a long time, man just thinking about it makes my spine shiver

I just couldn't stay awake for alot longer so i slept after 12 sometime...i lost track

Monday
Last day :(
but AWESOME sunrise, woke up to see people walking off :O so i had to run my anus off to catch up with them but God Bless for an awesome sunrise. brekkie, pack up all the stuff and disco groups awwww we were the most awesome group thanx again to nick and to everyone there WE BEAT BEN BLUMBERGS GROUP FOR PRAYING WOOT WOOT haha probs shouldnt celebrate so hard but OH WELL :D and u know then came the fateful time to go home :( train was delayed like 30 min so spent it taking photos and being azn and then read on the train to wollongong which was pretty lame, drunk ppl and too many asians in wollongong, thought it was like china/hk *shfty*

bus back talked to orla and nat for like 2 hours straight, cldnt sleep for some reason, lol'ed at pairing up, would share but that is TOO private haha

lol'ed cuz i missed my train and had to potentially wait 30 min for my next train, gt picked up by mum went home, ate a whole couple of bowls of chicken and rice...LOL and then FB, comp, sleep

yeh my life is awesome, but it wouldn't be without God so here's to u God
