More musical blogging because i am that awesome

Friday 28th
So, had another as usual boring day at school, at least it didn't rain, one of life's greatest pleasures not having it rain :)

but of course must talk about the radio interview. so stella and i got picked up to go to 2UE up at St Leonards, was kind of nerve racking for both of us but i think the radio interview went very well. Forced myself to think carefully before i said anything which made me seem kind of slow and "bogan" but oh well. Tim Webster got our school name and stuff wrong which was kinda pissy but at least we managed to correct him a tiny bit into that our school's are seperate i mean even our uniforms are completely different geez.

Stella's singing as usual was "waaaaaah" and i just tried to sing in tune so i guess i should be happy with the result. we took our time getting back to school at least but i had enough time to talk to mr ovens and the other head teachers about the interview

so we had to meet up at 4 in the performance space for practice, which was good because i think i forgot a few of my lines, which i did in the performance space, was so tired that i fell asleep when i wasn't singing a few times which i guess was kinda embarrassing....but hey suffer u lot

friday performance was pretty bad, ppl missing cues, i fell down the stairs, felt kinda distracted but i don't think it affected my performance, was disappointed even more so with my voice but at least my awesome twin Katt came to watch :D made my day that she came, havn't seen her in about six months ie way too long

Saturday 29th
Saturday performance was HEAPS better, we were very lucky that it didn't rain until the next day which made for a great time in last performance. everyone sang well, came in on time and apart from a mishap in 2nd act ended up looking great :D im so glad we managed to finish off so well for the audience.

personally wasn't toooo happy with my personal performance, forgot a cpl of lines, got a smile from moulton cuz i ALWAYS forget that line, and my bring him home actually caused a little pain and SOMEONE chose not to listen...oh well

got a literal wall of noise for the bows, made me fully appreciate the amount of work i had put into this musical but i kind of laughed at the clapping and me picking up tristan and the cart LOL oh well

Afters was fun in a way, nice to be able to not feel guilty and keep responsible as an 18 year old and watched some funny things happen.
Didn't have the best time, house was really crowded, had to tell some people stuff which was important but nevertheless hard...and helped out paul kudo's to julia for taking over when what i was doing wasn't completely workin...

went home stil swaying a tiny bit but i was quite proud that i kept my self under control and all the iscf people kept themselves clean and so much love for keely for praying for us beforehand. :D

soooooo havn't blogged on this for what seems like...a month O.O oh well, gna use that playback memory of mine to blog about musical performances

21st May
First performance O.O well at least Stella managed to make my make up look rather natural (future thanx for all of the performances haha) kinda was nervous but then again me and vin got really calm, as if like "hey we're gonna perform anyways might as well just calm down and enjoy it"
stubbed my toe on those raised grates next to our hall (seriously what kind of point do they serve?) started bleeding so for the whole prologue and up till the end of my mayor scene which was fun, nice work me...

musical went well but i guess you could easily tell what was wrong, curtains opening and closing at weird times (my fault for a couple of them ><), the mic's popping as we walked around, my crackly mic at the start until the docks scene but in the end the musical was very good apparently, we all sounded great apparently haha but i could def hear that everyone barring me was sounding very good :)

22nd May
Got to musical late, not that it really matters, just a matter of going over notes then as usual the mad rush to get ready with me looking like an idiot sorting all my clothes XD stupid costume changes, really hate the one between prologue and at the end of the day.
everyone seemed a bit lax today, might have been because we got a bit complacent but Stella was incredible as per usual grrrr damn her. on the other hand the orchestra was much better as was the technical aspect of the musical so i guess that was a very good bright spot on this musical.

then party at Bella's house :D her house was to say massive and awesome haha it was a very chillaxed party which i found to my liking at least it didn't go crazy, probably cuz the house was so nice we cldnt find the urge to make it crazy.
